Interested? Follow these step-by-step instructions:

Step 1: Choose your valentine. Significant other? How romantic! Friend, mentor, or colleague? Awesome! Crushing on someone? Good luck!

Step 2: Schedule your hug from one of the times and places above. Wait! Before you decide to stop reading these instructions because you are so excited to send your hug, read the following:

  • Step 2a: Before you select the hug day, time, and place, you must know that your valentine is available and will be there! How do you do that? Pull out your phone and make some lunch plans with them! E-mail your mentor and ask if they have a few minutes to chat! Invite your friend to the basketball game!
  • Step 2b: Not available during any of those times but still want to send a note? If your valentine lives on campus, we'll send the note through campus mail. Contact Gabi Wurtzel at for more information.
  • Step 2c: Plans confirmed? Great. Move on down to Step 3!

Step 3: Make your $5 donation to the Towson Fund! Why donate? Because it supports academic programs, student life, and scholarships at Towson!

Step 4: After you make your donation, find the confirmation email that was sent to the email you provided. Found it? Great -- don't delete it! There will be important information and a link in there for you to submit your valentine's information and write your note.

Step 5: Click that link in your email! Fill out the information, write your note, and hit submit!

Step 6: Look out for a tiger dressed as Cupid!

**This event is only open to TU students, faculty, and staff.
