Elfreth Assadi Family Endowed Scholarship A Project of College of Liberal Arts

Prepare Students for Their Careers

Internships for political science students are essential for professional growth and career readiness. While beneficial, many of these opportunities are unpaid and can result in students taking out additional school loans or, unfortunately, even declining the internship offer. The Elfreth Assadi Family Endowed Scholarship Honoring Women in Public Service helps ensure that finances are not a barrier to political science students at Towson University who have been offered an internship.

How Can You Help?

You have likely heard the phrase, "it's not about what you know…it's about who you know." Donations to the Elfreth Assadi Family Endowed Scholarship Honoring Women in Public Service allow TU political science students to capitalize on both by providing the means for students to use the knowledge they have garnered in the classroom in a work setting, and to also connect them with professional contacts who can assist with post-graduation career planning.
