Glen Arboretum Operating Fund A Project of Campus Life
Maintaining a Spot for Self-Discovery and Scientific Exploration
Towson students have loved the Glen Arboretum for more than 80 years. Since the 1930s, they've gone there, in the heart of campus, to learn and unwind. Its pathways curve through 12 acres of natural beauty—plants, trees and shrubs principally native to Maryland. Once home to the Glen Players and a vibrant social scene, the Glen now gives students, faculty and staff opportunities to build teamwork on the Challenge Course, conduct research in biology and chemistry, and just take a few minutes to relax. Plus, it welcomes visitors who want to know more about Maryland's ecology.
How Can You Help?
Through a gift to the Glen Arboretum Operating Fund, you'll provide year-to-year care for a vital part of life at Towson. So many campuses are simply concrete, brick and steel—the Glen is a Towson treasure. Your gift keeps it green and growing, helping defray maintenance costs, including protection from invasive species and restoration of the pathways that make it accessible to everyone.
