James R. Saxon Memorial Scholarship Endowment A Project of Campus Life

Celebrate a Hall of Fame Life

Jim Saxon was a throwback whose impact on Towson was felt long after he graduated in 1968. A four-year letter-winner in both lacrosse and soccer, Jim was the first all-American and first team captain for longtime TU men's lacrosse coach Carl Runk, and was a 1983 inductee into the Towson Athletics Hall of Fame. Like many of his contemporaries, Jim lost his life in Vietnam, but students who share his commitment to TU continue to uphold his memory.

How Can You Help?

Your generosity will support students who contribute to campus life and the TU community with the same kind of vigor Jim had. These are students who are in good academic standing and who have participated in a sport at the intramural, club, or varsity levels. Celebrate that commitment and honor Jim's memory with your gift.
